Katie Hodges joined the CB Ragland team in 2024 and serves as Senior Property Accountant, where she is primarily responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly and annual financial statements for all commercial properties, managing the annual budget preparation process, liaising with tenants regarding accounting matters, and assisting with the company’s financial planning and analysis function to support executive decision‐making.

Prior to joining CB Ragland, Katie worked at Omni Hotels as Accounting Manager. In this role, oversaw all income audit staff at the historic Grove Park Inn & Spa and implemented process improvements that increased audit efficiency and strengthened revenue controls across multiple departments. Prior to Omni, Katie worked at Kibo Capital Group, a Nashville-based real estate investment company, where she managed accounting operations for a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. She led a full software conversion project, integrating accounting systems for commercial, multi‐family, and storage assets, which improved reporting accuracy and reduced month‐end close times  Katie started her career at Omni Hotels after graduation as a Finance Leader in Development, where she was trained in the full cycle of hospitality accounting as an accounts payable clerk, accounts receivable clerk, income auditor, payroll master, cash accountant, and credit manager.

Katie graduated Cum Laude from William Carey University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and attended Middle Tennessee State University to complete prerequisite accounting courses to qualify for the CPA Exam. Currently, she has completed three exams and plans to complete the remaining by the end of 2025.
